After the 2010 flood in Nashville, Stacy Downey saw that access to healthy food was not available to many displaced by the flood. As a result, The Little Pantry That Could became a reality. Since then, volunteers stock the shelves of the pantry on Friday afternoons, and anyone who needs food is invited to shop on Saturdays, no questions asked. They received $10,645 with 54 donors for the first week. In addition, FPC’s Food Services and SFM delivered $3,000 worth of groceries and meats to them. They are so grateful and want everyone to know how much they appreciate FPC, their people, and our partnership. Donate by clicking on the PayPal button on the donate page.
