15:25 Project

15:25 Project Supports Community Missions Partners With $92,000 in Gifts

The first phase of FPC’s 15:25 Project has provided $92,000 for the work of our Missions Partners as they seek to serve those in need in the Nashville community. 400 donations have been made over the past several weeks. Many thanks to generous FPC members for your support.

The 15:25 Project helped provide food, shelter, and healthcare through Second Harvest Food Bank, Legacy Mission Village, The Little Pantry that Could, Nashville Rescue Mission, Siloam Health, and the Martha O’Bryan Center. 100% of the donations went directly to these partners and those they serve.

The first phase of the 15:25 Project has concluded successfully, but you can continue to support FPC’s mission partners through ongoing donations to the church. Your gifts help support 40 local mission partners, some 40 national and world missions, and numerous local and national mission trips.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 15:25 Project – your generosity makes a real difference.

Sixth Partner: Martha O’Bryan Center

The Martha O’Bryan Center (MOB) was founded in 1894 by Martha O’Bryan, who was a member at First Presbyterian Church. MOBC is a long standing mission partner if FPC’s and many of our church members are involved with the center. Because of its physical proximity to tornado victims and areas of highest poverty in our city, Martha O’Bryan is uniquely positioned in our community to provide necessary relief to those in need during these difficult times. We hope you’ll join us in supporting one of our most beloved mission partners. Donate now!

Fifth Partner: Siloam Health

In their own words, “Siloam Health seeks to care, not just for the physical health of those we serve, but for their spiritual, emotional, and mental health as well, based on a strong belief that every person is an image-bearer of their creator.” We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Siloam as they continue their mission to share the love of Christ by serving those in need through health care. First Pres members have given $9,142 from 34 donors so far in the first week! Thank you for your continued support – what a gift to be a part. Donate now!

Thank you to you and your families for the ongoing support of our 15:25 Project and the Nashville Rescue Mission. Donate now! As a result of the impacts from COVID-19, their client base has grown significantly, and your continued support is very helpful. We are inspired by the work happening in and among our community and are grateful to play a small role in loving our community well.

Third Partner: The Little Pantry That Could

The Little Pantry That Could logoAfter the 2010 flood in Nashville, Stacy Downey saw that access to healthy food was not available to many displaced by the flood. As a result, The Little Pantry That Could became a reality. Since then, volunteers stock the shelves of the pantry on Friday afternoons, and anyone who needs food is invited to shop on Saturdays, no questions asked. They received $10,645 with 54 donors for the first week. In addition, FPC’s Food Services and SFM delivered $3,000 worth of groceries and meats to them. They are so grateful and want everyone to know how much they appreciate FPC, their people, and our partnership. Donate by clicking on the PayPal button on the donate page. (Clicking on the PayPal button will allow you to donate with a credit card).
