During June 23 – 26, rising 4th-6th graders will have the opportunity to serve with Mission Camp!

Children will have the chance to put the gifts and talents God has given them to use by working directly with various missions throughout Nashville. Mission Camp is a wonderful progression from traditional VBS allowing children to experience first hand how the gifts God has given them may touch the lives of others.

Campers will bring a sack lunch daily as well as a few items to donate to their agency.

During the June Vacation Bible School, FPC Mission Campers helped to rescue food in partnership with the Society of St. Andrews by saving green beans and squash destined for the waste pile simply because they were too large or too small for food processing businesses.  These campers and friends saved and packed 2900 pounds of vegetables equal to 8700 servings of food.  Upon completion of the packaging, representatives from local agencies arrived on campus to pick up the bagged vegetables and quickly return it their kitchens where it was immediately prepared to feed hungry people.
