Adult Missions Committee Develops Programs
The Adult Missions Committee develops programs to increase awareness of the church family's involvement in missions. This is a committee that deals with "sticks and bricks" and develops opportunities in which adult members may participate. Opportunities for extended building projects include trips to Jamaica, Mexico, Belize and Kenya. A relational trip is made each year to Cuba as well. Depending on availability of medical staff, the church sends a mission team to the Dominican Republic to serve in San Juan de la Maguana near the Haitian border.
Local building projects have included work with Habitat for Humanity, Affordable Housing, and Down Syndrome Association of Middle Tennessee. Another hands-on service ministry is the weekly hosting of 14 men through Room in the Inn each Wednesday during the months of November - March.
Check out the links to the left to explore the various trips offered to adult members of FPC-Nashville and pray for God's guidance about participating. If you have questions about any Adult Missions opportunity, please contact the Adult Missions Office by phone (615-298-9593) or by e-mail at adultmissions@fpcnashville.org.
