2004 Ruiz, Mexico Mission Trip Theme Verse

One of the Senior mission trips this past summer was to Ruiz, Mexico in late July. Nine members of the class of 2005 (plus an old friend now living in Austin, TX) made the journey along with chaperones Jen DeJong and Patricia Heim. Their servants' hearts were evident on those very hot days as they mixed concrete, laid block, and helped build two bathrooms and two homes for the local Mexican families. The youth also shared their passion for Christ with the Mexican children and their mothers through Kids Club each day. Our own Stuart Cook was the praise team leader with vocal back-up from Mimi Lee Curtis and Jen DeJong.
