Thank You FPC Volunteers!!

Sunday, October 19 marked the dedication of a dozen homes built in Timberwood, the second neighborhood built entirely by and for Habitat for Humanity volunteers and homeowners. Included among these homes to be dedicated was one belonging to Janice Tyson and her mother, Luella, the recipient of the Fall Home Build sponsored by FPC-Nashville.

Following a joint gathering to celebrate the completion of these new homes (including a surprise visit from Reba McEntire), representatives from FPC accompanied Janice, her family, and friends to her home to officially welcome her with a ribbon cutting ceremony for her home. Janice expressed her thanks to FPC by presenting a card and many tears of joy.

Thanks to all the volunteers and friends who organized, worked, fed, or otherwise helped to make this home a reality for a very deserving new homeowner. We wish Janice and Luella great joy and wonderful memories in their new home.
