Rising Freshmen to Shoals, Indiana
An awesome group of rising 9th graders trekked off to Shoals, Indiana on a trip sponsored by Group Workcamps Foundation.
Upon arrival, we spent the week of July 19 serving folks in great need and growing spiritually. We painted, repaired, cleaned, built wheelchair ramps and fixed roofs.
We came away with changed hearts after feeling saddened, gladdened, exhausted, happy, humbled and overwhelmed by God's Love. Along the way we had lots and lots of fun! |

Our Workcamp theme for the week was Living Inside Out. We studied Galatians 5:22-23--the Fruit of the Spirit--and learned that as God changes us on the inside, we begin to display these Fruits on the outside--which is what Living Inside Out is all about!
